About the Refugee Outreach Collective (ROC):
ROC is a volunteer-run nonprofit that works within colleges and universities to advocate for a global society where refugee camps are not considered long-term solutions, while encouraging campuses and surrounding communities to consider their own misperceptions of those migrating across international borders.
ROC has built their own educational mission to provide free education to those in Dzaleka, Malawi. From training on the latest technology to new pedagogical methods, we help teachers make their classrooms engaging and successful.
The proceeds from this show will go towards providing aid to local refugees and funding for the Global Classroom.
